Young Pirates at the Helm

Hidalgo Elementary is a great place for learning! We take pride in 13 years of continuous success, 8 years of Exemplary and 5 years as a recognized school. Our success is due to teacher high expectations and a no excuses philosophy.

Administrators, staff, students and parents all work together to help every child realize his or her full potential and become a life-long learner. At Hidalgo Elementary every teacher is a leader!  They work collaboratively and take responsibility for student learning. We are a community of professional learners dedicated to teaching and learning. Students at Hidalgo Elementary experience success through a variety of programs such as the Dual Language Program, Success for All, UIL, GT, Technology, etc.

Hidalgo continues to strive to be the best in Texas and in the nation, leading in dual language and providing a quality education to each and every child regardless of their economic status or language.
