The last parenting class taught by Mrs. Maria Luisa Salcines took place today, Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Hidalgo Elementary School's Parenting Center. Parents completed a course in learning how to communicate with their children and other significant others.

Hidalgo Elementary School was inaugurated on Monday, November 19, 2007 in the cafeteria of the new building. Past and present administrators were invited to attend this gala affair. The theme of the inauguration was "Honoring the Past and Embracing the Future."
