Telecommunications Can a student use a cell phone during school hours? The use of telecommunication devices with text messaging (cell phone), pagers, radios, CD players, tape recorders, DVD’s cameras, electronic devices or games are NOT permitted during the school day. Each item will be collected and turned into principal’s office. Our Principal will determine if item will be returned at the end of each day or notify parent to pick it up. A telecommunications form is required to be signed by the parents and each student attending Hidalgo High School. This form states what is written above.
