Hidalgo Elementary sponsors a cheerleading team made up of third, fourth, and fifth grade students.  They meet regularly after school to work on their cheerleading format and cheers.  All students are eligible to participate and must work hard and meet the strick standards of the cheerleading coach, Ms. Patty Perez.  Each student is provided a cheerleading outfit at a low price to represent Hidalgo Elementary School in parades, school functions, and other events.  Here, the cheerleaders work with the Hidalgo Swat to help students understand the services provided by the Hidalgo Police Department. 

Ms. Patty Perez is the cheerleading coach for Hidalgo Elementary School.  She strives for excellence in building the cheerleading squad to high standards.
