JC Kelly History

JC Kelly Elementary is a neighborhood school that was built in 1986. The school is named after John Connelly Kelly, a local rancher.

The original structure consisted of three separate buildings with open walkways that connected each building to the next. The school originally housed students from grades Kindergarten through sixth grade.

Since then, JC Kelly Elementary has grown. Currently, the campus houses students from Pre-Kinder 3 through fifth grade. In 2004, the campus recieved a new wing, and currently a new addition of three classrooms and a new gymnasium is being constructed. When finished, Kelly will boast six technologically advanced computer labs, and a state of the art gym.
