Purpose
The purpose of the Dr. Alejo Salinas Jr. Elementary's Student Council is to promote leadership and decision making skills. Through varied activities, these important lifeskills are instilled in the students involved and modeled by the same for all other students to emulate.
Student Council Oath
As a student council representative, I shall take part in this school year as a responsible and respectful leader. I will do my best to listen to others and to make positive decisions for our school. I will do my best to show enthusiasm and be a positive role model for others. I will make every attempt to lead and help others.

school year is Ms. Melissa Gallegos,who is also the school counselor at Dr. Alejo Salinas Jr. Elementary.
